What you’ll need:
1. Pretzel rods 2. Melting chocolate (in the past I’ve gotten it at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby, but regular or flavored chocolate chips will do. These easy microwavable melting chocolate from Target was an excellent find, especially because I prefer the vanilla flavor to white chocolate.) 3. Festive sprinkles Put your chocolate in a bowl and melt in the microwave or on a stove top SLOWLY, stirring frequently so it doesn’t burn. The microwave tray kind is crazy easy and takes just one minute. Then, dip each pretzel rod! A twisting technique as you remove it from the chocolate helps with any drips. Place on a baking tray lined with tin foil, or a disposable tin tray you’ve had sitting around if you’re like me. Quickly top with fun sprinkles! Don’t wait too long or the chocolate will harden before the sprinkles stick. It’s best to do one pretzel at a time — dip then sprinkle — or just a few at most. Stick in the refrigerator to set for a few minutes. This all happens very quickly! And yes, one side of the pretzel will be flat and plain from the tray. It’s okay, I promise. They still look pretty and taste amazing. See more at http://fitting-it-all-in.com/diy-valentines-treats/
